All across the United States are hundreds of thousands of orphaned natural gas wells leaking methane into the atmosphere. These wells are relics of an older age and now provide no value to the communities they pollute but also have no clear path to remediation since the liability for plugging is often unclear. CherAmi is able to deploy mobile data centers in even the most remote of sites, generate revenue to fund the P&A and also create some tax revenue and jobs for the local communities

In Northern Oklahoma CherAmi has successfully been consuming a stream of stranded methane which due to aged infrastructure from the last century, is both physically and economically stranded. By utilizing mobile bitcoin mining solutions provided by CherAmi, the operator is able to end the venting of their gas and increase oil production by keeping pressure of the wells
